Kathryn joined Hach as a Sales Development Manager in 2018 to provide additional, in-depth support for Hach’s Water Intelligence Claros software offering which helps eliminate uncertainty and increase confidence in water management and operations. Kathryn currently is the North American Supervisor for the Software Application Development team supporting both instrument and process management optimization capabilities. Kathryn has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, and she resides in Madisonville, LA.

Stephen Daly has been a water professional in various capacities but primarily in textiles and more recently serving as a past Deputy Director for the Tuscaloosa AL water system. Stephen joined Hach as a Applications Development Manager in 2019 to provide additional, in-depth support for Hach’s Water Intelligence Claros software offering which helps eliminate uncertainty and increase confidence in water management and operations. Stephen currently is the North American Southeast Application Development Manager supporting both instrument and process management optimization capabilities. Stephen has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, and he continues to reside in Tuscaloosa, AL.

In today’s ever evolving world, the technological tools for optimization that are available to us as humans also continue to evolve.  In the past 50 years, there is a stark contrast from where we initiated operationally to where we are today.  We have gone from a primarily manual operation to a more advanced, connected, smart operation environment.

In this session, we will focus on the progress of that technology in water processing, on the tools that are available today, and on how these tools can be implemented to improve efficiencies of operation.  In addition to exploring the benefits of this technological progress, we will also touch on the necessity of cybersecurity as we continue to advance.
