Abstract Text

Ever wondered about digital transformation and how it applies to your organization? Is it only for larger organizations looking to do AI/ML projects or is there something there for smaller organizations? This presentation considers practical approaches to digital transformation and strategies to build toward a more effective digital future.

Digital transformation is a hot topic. While much of the digital transformation discussion is currently focused on how to build analytic solutions (AI/ML) for operations, most organizations struggle with the constant thrash of digital change.
Digital transformation is not really about data science projects. If you are using any technology, you are already engaged in digital transformation and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Digital transformation is about change. So, is there a better way to manage the thrash of digital change?
Digital strategy is a way to shape change in your organization. Done well, it can become a guide that is both durable and resilient. From an organizational perspective it can also project a sense of control and limits on what is commonly perceived by management as a necessary but expensive cost center.
Digital strategy is something that can be implemented for any size of organization. This presentation offers an approach to digital strategy design and identifies specific tactical elements that may be helpful in implementing a strategy to enable digital transformations now and in the future.
