Brian has worked in the coatings industry for 31 years with the Sherwin Williams Company with the most recent 16 years being dedicated to the Water/Wastewater Industry. His current position with Sherwin Williams is Market Manager Water Infrastructure for the Southeastern US. He is a NACE level 3 certified coatings inspector as well as an SSPC Certified Coatings Inspector.

This presentation will discuss the environment and the substrates that a wastewater facility endures on a day in/day out basis.  We will discuss the causes of corrosion of both concrete and metal in these environments and then go into a generic discussion behind the technology of protective coatings.  In closing we will take all of that information and discuss a better pathway forward to insure the maximum life cycle of the assets in these harsh environments.
