Abstract Text

Title: “The Proof is in the Pipe”

An overview of Tools and Technologies for Pressure Pipe Inspections, validations, and Rehabilitation.

An introduction to proven technologies for identifying anomalies in both ferrous and non-ferrous pipes. Capable of detecting anomalies in all pipe material types and a proven process for rehabilitation of “Pressure Pipes” up to 48”

Inspection/Condition Assessment

  • Provides a complete condition assessment of the line during the same inspection identifying delamination in multi-layered pipe materials, both internal and external corrosion, leaks, and gas pockets, Joint and gap width.
  • Sub-meter XYZ mapping accuracy
  • Trackable during the entire inspection.
  • Can navigate 45’s and 90 sweeps, back-to-back.
  • An interactive dashboard deliverable to identify locations of anomalies that is easy to understand and watch with a split screen view identifying both what and where is above and below ground.

Rehabilitation

Introduction of an Aramid Liner System capable of:

  • Lining 3”-48’ Pipelines
  • Up to 13,000 LF in one pull
  • Withstands operating pressure up to 600psi/surge pressures up to 1800psi
  • Abrasion resistant
  • Heat resistant to 167 degrees
  • Trenchless rehabilitation except for termination locations
  • NSF approved
  • 50-year service life
